I work where computer networking meets radio astronomy. In the Signal & Data Processing group at CSIRO Space & Astronomy, I design and build the high-performance, software-defined networks that move the vast data streams inside instruments like the SKA-Low telescope — with a particular interest in how network offloading can take on more of the heavy lifting. More broadly, I'm driven by a simple goal: understanding and improving networking for everyone.
I was born and raised in Toulouse, the heart of European aerospace, and trained as an engineer at ISAE-SupAéro. A PhD brought me to Australia — which quickly became home, and where I've built my career ever since.
Most recently, I've been working on:
- the Square Kilometre Array and Parkes radio telescopes;
- Time-Sensitive Networking;
- the analysis of emerging technologies and their implications.
